The association “Casa per l’Europa” (European House) was funded in Gemona del Friuli (Udine – Italy) in 1989.

It aims at promoting European awareness by developing the following activities:

• Information on European opportunities (mobility, job and study opportunities) and European programmes focused on youth (e.g. Youth in Action). Moreover, “Casa per l’Europa” is memeber of the European network EURODESK;
• Promotion of local and international projects (e.g. youth exchanges, youth initiatives). “Casa per l’Europa” operates also within the European Voluntary Service (EVS) programme as “sending organization” (accreditation number: 2008-IT-96);
• Multiplier actions: conferences, meetings and round tables on European issues;
• Organization of events, such as the celebration of the Day of Europe on 9th May.
