EU Public Affairs Trainee
Cambre Associates, an award-winning independently-owned integrated PA & PR consulting firm headquartered in Brussels, will hire a trainee for an initial period of 6 months. Tasks to be performed include research, monitoring, analysis and reporting on regulatory developments in the areas of health, food and consumer policy. The trainee will provide support to and input on lobbying campaigns.
Profile required:
•Academic background with degree in EU government affairs or EU law.
•Excellent command of English. Second language an asset.
•Relevant work experience in the EU/international environment e.g. internship in EU institution, trade association or consultancy.
•Keen interest in EU policies and knowledge of health, food and consumer policy.
•Good knowledge of EU decision-making processes.
•Interest in developing consultancy skills.
•Ability to multi-task and a proactive ‘can do’ attitude are essential.
•Good team player with excellent research and organisational skills are a must.
•Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
