Profile
The ideal candidate should:
•Be proficient in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of additional EU languages (in particular Danish) would be a plus;
•Be a recent graduate in Political Science, International Affairs, Law or European Studies;
•Have a thorough understanding of the functioning of the European institutions ;
•Be motivated and a fast learner, eager to acquire general knowledge of the healthcare sector and more specifically of in vitro diagnostics;
•Enjoy working in a multicultural team;
•Be computer literate.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Public Affairs and Communications Intern comprise, inter alia, the following:
•Conduct research on relevant policy areas (Public Health, Single Market and Research/ Innovation);
•Daily monitoring of current and upcoming legislative developments (EU/ Member States);
•Support the Public Affairs and Communications team in developing advocacy strategies;
•Attend external meetings organised by European institutions or other relevant stakeholders;
•Assistance in the editorial process of EDMA publications;
•Provide organisational support.

The position is remunerated. Further details will be provided during the interview.
