Traineeship- Brussels
ESMU, the European Centre for Strategic Management of Universities is a dynamic Brussels-based association which supports European universities with their strategic developments, through conferences, seminars, projects and training programmes.
Duties
ESMU has a three-month traineeship position available from March 2012. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Secretary-General and have the opportunity to gain experience in EU project and network management, working on the following:
Support to EU projects, acquiring project management experience;
Researching issues and writing articles on Higher Education developments for newsletters/reports;
Support with events’ organisation and their administrative management.
Qualifications
Candidates should have the following:
A university degree;
Language skills: perfect command of written and spoken English and another EU Member State’s language; third language is a plus;
Keen interest in EU policies, in particular in the field of European Higher Education (Lisbon Agenda, Bologna Process);
Good team player and organisational skills a definite must; keen to learn, proactive attitude;
Dynamism and flexibility;
Computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
